The first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq was solemnly commemorated today at a solemn event organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of messages from the President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, and the Chief of Defence Forces. A special video message from Defence Minister Khawaja Asif was also played, along with documentary videos on the launch and successful completion of the operation.

In his remarks, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan highlighted Pakistan’s foresightedness, responsibility, and measured handling of the conflict, noting that its positive outcomes continue to be seen. He paid rich tribute to the valour, professionalism, and sacrifices of the Armed Forces, and stressed that the commemoration should be observed with humility and gratitude. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace with strong resolve to safeguard its sovereignty, national interests, and territorial integrity against all challenges.
