سعودی عرب نے جمعہ کی شام کو چاند نظر آنے کے بعد یکم مارچ بروز ہفتہ کو رمضان المبارک کا پہلا دن قرار دیا ہے۔

یہ اعلان ملک کے مسلمانوں سے 29 شعبان (جمعہ) کو چاند دیکھنے کے لیے کہا گیا، جو کہ اسلامی قمری تقویم کا ایک اہم اشارہ ہے۔ اسلامی مہینے 29 یا 30 دن کے ہوتے ہیں

Ramadan 2025 begins on March 1: Moon sighted in Saudi Arabia Islamic months last either 29 or 30 days, depending on the sighting of the crescent. On the 29th day of Shaaban (February 28), official moon-sighting committees convened to determine when Ramadan will officially start. If sighted on this day, the holy month begins on the next day.

The crescent 🌙 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 and UAE 🇦🇪. The first day of Ramadan will be on Monday, March 11, 2024.
