World's Largest Civil Aviation MRO Hangar Breaks Ground!
On May 18, the Emirates New Engineering Facility at DWC Airport — built by and executed by CR18G (China Railway 18th Bureau) — officially broke ground in Dubai.
Located at the heart of Dubai World Central (DWC), the facility spans 1.21 million sqm and will be the world's largest and most advanced MRO complex, capable of servicing 28 wide-body aircraft simultaneously. It will solidify Dubai's position as a global aviation hub.

Mountains and Seas No Barrier is an original work by staff of China Railway 18th Bureau International Company, paying tribute to CRCC overseas frontline builders.
Centered on the Belt and Road initiative, it features iconic projects like the China-Europe Railway Express, desert high-speed railways and Luban Workshops. The song showcases our builders’ perseverance across mountains and seas, embodying the spirit of forging paths through mountains and bridging waters, as well as friendship and dedication along the Silk Road.
