We hope that 10 years from now we have clear unpolluted skies, a thriving ecosystem, a restored arctic and a plastic free ocean. We hope 10 years from today the world is a better place for our children and peers.

We know that 10 years from today, we would have contributed towards making our dream of restoring the planet, a reality.

Today we stand together to fight for our planet. We believe we are the changemakers and we're actively working and advocating for restoring this planet we call home. We stand together for the protection of our forest, to protect other inhabitants of the planet, to fight against marine pollution and for healthy air.

We are the youth, trying to reverse mistakes of the past.

We learnt about the rise in sea levels, extinction of species, climate change, global warming and their consequences. Was this the world we wanted to take over from our ancestors?

Yesteryear we learnt that we have to consume with care. Yesteryear we learnt to question and be responsible.

COP24 discussions are taking place in Katowice, Poland these two weeks which kicked off today.
Global temperature is increasing and we are lagging in action for climate change.

The conference primary goal is to arrive at critical negotiations on how to address the problem collectively and urgently.

This year’s COP in Katowice, Poland, is particularly crucial because 2018 is the deadline that the signatories of the Paris Agreement agreed upon in order to adopt a work programme for the implementation of the Paris commitments.
