Dear Members, given ongoing developments across the region, we would like to share a helpful resource for U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad.

The U.S. Department of State offers the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) — a free service that allows U.S. citizens to register with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate and receive official updates directly, including security messages, travel advisories, and other important notifications.

Those who wish to stay informed through official U.S. government channels may register at: step.state.gov

Enrollment is entirely voluntary and simply ensures you receive timely information from the U.S. Embassy should it be relevant.

Sharjah FDI Office - Invest in Sharjah , in collaboration with AmCham Dubai, invites senior business leaders to Business & Golf 2026—an executive-level gathering focused on investment insights, market access, and strategic engagement in Sharjah.

The programme opens with a business breakfast and leadership dialogue, providing practical perspectives on Sharjah’s investment priorities and opportunities for US companies operating in or entering the UAE. The morning then transitions into golf and informal networking in a relaxed setting.

AmCham Dubai is pleased to host the official WHX - World Health Expo Kickoff Breakfast, convening senior US and UAE stakeholders and leading healthcare executives at the opening of one of the region’s most important global health gatherings.

The program will open with remarks by Robert Raines, U.S. Consul General in Dubai, U.S. Mission to the UAE followed by a high-level panel moderated by Robert Mikhael (Abbott), featuring Jonathan Wetzel, FACHE (Mount Sinai Health System International), Ayhan Ozturk (Medtronic), Moayad (Moe) Al-Borno (Cigna Healthcare Middle East & Africa), and Mohamed Nasser (Amgen).
American Hospital Dubai, the event’s Gold Partner and a flagship US healthcare institution in the UAE, will spotlight its leadership in advancing clinical excellence, digital health, and patient-centered innovation. As a longstanding AmCham Dubai member, the hospital continues to play a vital role in strengthening US–UAE healthcare collaboration.

Aligned with the theme Innovating Care, Elevating Outcomes, the breakfast will explore how providers, life sciences leaders, and payers are shaping the future of healthcare delivery, outcomes, and access across the region.
