تُعد الحياة البرية في الفجيرة جزءًا مهمًا من التنوع البيئي، حيث تمتد بين البيئات الجبلية والصحراوية وتحتضن كائنات تكيفت مع ظروفها القاسية.
من أبرزها حيوان الطهر العربي، وهو من الثدييات النادرة التي تعيش في الجبال الوعرة، ويتميز بقدرة عالية على التسلق والتكيف مع التضاريس الصخرية، ما يجعله مثالًا واضحًا على قوة التكيف في الحياة البرية المحلية.

هذا النوع يمثل مؤشرًا على صحة واستقرار الموائل الطبيعية في البيئات الجبلية والصحراوية.

Wildlife in Fujairah forms an essential part of the emirate’s ecological diversity, spanning mountain and desert environments and supporting species that have adapted to challenging conditions.

Among the most notable is the Arabian Tahr, a rare mountain mammal known for its exceptional climbing ability and its adaptation to steep, rocky terrain, making it a clear example of resilience within local wildlife.

The presence of this species is considered an important indicator of the health and stability of natural habitats in mountainous and desert environments.

According to Hiking Adventures (Standards and Good Practices) the selected trail should align with participants’ experience levels and physical fitness, with a clear understanding of its distance, difficulty, and potential challenges.
