🇰🇷 The use of string transport in Korea was discussed in Sharjah
The String Technologies Testing Center in Sharjah was visited by a delegation from the Busan Development Institute. The specialists of this organization are currently engaged in urban planning, including in the field of transport infrastructure.
During the tour, the guests took a test ride on a certified tropical Unicar, visited the control room, learned about the possibilities of freight and high-speed transport, and also met personally with the founder of the project, Anatoli Unitsky.
The delegates also visited the company office that develops string transport in the UAE. Here, the guests discussed options for using the technology on several routes in Korea: Gadeokdo Island — Gangseo district and Gadeokdo island — Saha district. The parties have identified further steps for cooperation.

RTA exhibits uSky project at InnoTrans Berlin 2022
A delegation from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in the International Trade Convention and Fair for Transport Technology (InnoTrans 2022) in Berlin, Germany, 20–23 September 2022. RTA’s participation in the event aims to showcase a host of projects and initiatives to attract foreign direct investments.
RTA’s delegation consists of Ahmed Hashim Bahrozyan – CEO of the Public Transport Agency, Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla – Board Member, Hassan Al Mattawa – Director of Rail Operations, and Mohammed Al Amiri – Director of Rail Maintenance.
RTA stand showcases the key projects and initiatives in the field of public transport highlighted by the award-winning online platform for the engineering information of the Dubai Metro. Exhibits include designing and engineering RTA’s rail assets, and initiatives relating to the future of mobility.
RTA is also exhibiting the master rail plan to attract investors and international firms taking part in the exhibition. It will also showcase future rail projects such as the uSky project which represents the next generation of suspended rail transport.
“This event is a great opportunity to exchange experiences, information, and knowledge and keep abreast of the latest technologies of transportation such as innovation, artificial intelligence, data science and analysis, and the Internet of Things among others. It also illustrates the benefits of such cutting-edge technologies in providing services to a broad spectrum of mass transit riders,” concluded Ahmed Hashim Bahrozyan, CEO of the Public Transport Agency.

🌐 Representatives from Mobility Live Middle East at the Testing Centre in Sharjah
Sowmya Yellappa and Oliver Bull, managers of Mobility Live Middle East, have visited the Testing Centre in Sharjah. This is a key event for the region in the field of modern transport technology. The show will be held on 15–16 May, in 2023
Sandrine Bouic Petit, Yacoub AL Tahtamouni, Mohammed Bani Hammad, the representatives of the Sharjah Technology Research Park, also accompanied the guests.
During the tour, the delegates were shown the Centre's key facilities: the certified tropical Unicar, the high-speed model of the string transport, the mock-up of a linear city, and the dispatch room. The guests also took a test drive on the 400-meter track.
In addition, the guests attended a presentation on the project and highlighted the benefits of implementing the string transport. For example:
― Development of hard-to-reach areas and development of international transport networks.
― Increase of the country's and the region's GDP, creation of new jobs in almost all sectors of the economy.
― Improved urban, regional and global ecology.
