The first plenary session of the African Land Force Summit began with a speech by the Department of State's principal deputy assistant secretary, ambassador Donald Y.
Yamamoto, who spoke on the Obama administration's policy on relations with Africa. Yamamoto touched on many issues facing future relations between the U.S. and African nations. The one thing that remained constant throughout the whole presentation was the idea of working together to build capacity within Africa's border.

10 Years Without You - 7th June Today marks 10 years since I lost the love of my life, my best friend, my strongest support my wife. We shared a bond that was deep, honest, and full of respect. She never doubted me, never raised her voice not because life was always easy, but because we chose love, trust, and teamwork every single day. I was a soldier by profession, but at home, I was her partner in every way. I helped where I could, stood by her always, and she did the same for me. Even in her battle with leukemia, she remained full of grace and courage. Losing her was the hardest thing I have ever faced, harder than any battlefield.
But God has kept me going, and I remain thankful for every moment we had together and the gift of our son who carries so much of her spirit. Today, I remember her not with sorrow alone, but with deep gratitude. For the years we had. For the love we shared. For the memories that never fade. Rest on, my dear. You are forever loved and missed.

Love is really all that matters because everyone comes into this world with nothing other than love and leaves with nothing other than love. Think about it. Profession, career, bank account, our goods are just tools, nothing more. Everything stays here. So just love….Love those that really love you. Love, as if there was nothing more important in your life.
