After sitting in Antigua for two years, the iconic luxury yacht Alfa Nero has returned from dry dock in Martinique with a fresh, modern look. The vessel, renowned in maritime circles, is now ready to set sail for new adventures across the high seas.
The yacht’s return to Antigua highlights the island’s continued support for large vessels. Alfa Nero is back to collect spare parts and essential equipment in addition to logistics support required for its operation. This standard practice allows vessels traversing the Caribbean to come ashore, check in with customs and other authorities, and collect necessary parts from local warehouses.
As part of this process, Alfa Nero’s recent arrival included the collection of a pallet of supplies that was flown into Antigua’s V.C. Bird International Airport. The shipment was cleared by a local agent and subsequently transported to the port, showcasing the seamless coordination of services provided on the island.
With this recent operation, Antigua demonstrates its capacity to serve yachts like Alfa Nero, and we aim to expand these services going forward, providing comprehensive support to vessels arriving in the Caribbean. After being bunkered with fuel, Alfa Nero will depart Antigua and continue its journey across the seas.
