🇩🇴✨ Today, the Dominican Republic celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of Mercy (Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes), the beloved Patroness of our nation.

For centuries, Dominicans have turned to Her as a source of protection, faith, and unity. Since 1844, she has been officially recognized as the spiritual guardian of the Dominican Republic, and her devotion continues to inspire strength and resilience among our people.

On this day, we honor her as a guiding light of hope and a symbol of the unwavering faith that unites us all.

The Honorary Consulate of the Dominican Republic extends its respectful tribute to the heroes of the May battles and warmly congratulates the people of the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of Republic Day, celebrated on May 28.

The First Republic of Armenia, proclaimed on May 28, 1918, stands as a powerful symbol of courage, independence, and national identity. Its legacy continues to inspire generations to uphold the values of freedom and sovereignty.

The Honorary Consul of the Dominican Republic in Armenia, Mr. Mikael Karapetyan, was pleased to take part in the official reception hosted by the Embassy of the State of Israel in Armenia on the occasion of Israel’s National Day.

Sincere thanks to H.E. Mr. Joel Lion, Ambassador of Israel to Armenia, and to the Honorary Consul of Israel in Armenia, Mr. Ashot Chakhmouradian, for the warm hospitality and impeccable organization of the event.

Mr. Mikael Karapetyan, today participated in the official opening ceremony of the annual international forum “Yerevan Dialogue 2025.”

During the event, speeches were delivered by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Nikol Pashinyan,
the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ararat Mirzoyan,
as well as the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Mr. Robert Fico.

The “Yerevan Dialogue” forum brings together high-ranking guests, analysts, scientists, heads and representatives of diplomatic institutions from various countries.

We deeply mourn the tragedy in Santo Domingo.
Our hearts are with the victims, the injured, and their loved ones.
May strength, unity, and compassion carry us through this dark time.
