Richmond Heavy Towing was started by one young man Bob Sincock in the backyard of his house on South Road in Richmond in the late 1960s, Bob turned his first second hand truck into a tow truck by himself and over the many years bob has turned most of Richmond’s trucks into tow trucks in his own workshop at Richmond Towing, the drivers would work on building the tow trucks in-between towing vehicles during the day. Richmond Heavy Towing main work is doing the Heavy Truck ( Semi Trailers) towing and Accident recoveries but they also so do normal car towing they had the RAA breakdown contract for the CBD & North Adelaide for many years. Between the 1970s and 1990s there were just two companies that did the big heavy truck accidents in Adelaide. Richmond’s also use to a do a lot of the heavy truck breakdowns and accident rollovers all around the whole state of South Australia.
