Last week, SA Dental were proud to stand alongside communities, the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia, Local Health Networks, and partners at the Closing the Gap event.
Hosted by Nunkuwarrin Yunti of SA on Kaurna Yerta (at the Wayville Showgrounds) the event saw solid crowds in attendance and supporting stalls to honour the theme of ‘Community Voices: The Pathway to Justice, Equality and Healing.”
The day offered a meaningful opportunity to connect with communities from across Country, and to celebrate the unwavering strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
These community connections are essential to lifting oral health outcomes and supporting better overall health and wellbeing. As we continue our journey towards equality, we remain committed to listening, working alongside each other and strengthening pathways with communities. 🦷🖤
