As we enter the festive season for 2022, we know that not every Junior Ranger is in a fortunate position. Many have had to leave their homes at short notice, spending Christmas away from their family in new surroundings.
To play a small part in making their Christmas a bit more joyful, ANiMOZ is partnering with Backpacks 4 SA Kids throughout December.

For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the native species discovered in the World of ANiMOZ play an intimate and dynamic role in their culture and understanding of Country.
As part of the Booster Pack Kickstarter campaign that you all helped us complete, Ranger HQ commissioned young Ngarrindjeri artist, Ranger Jordan Lovegrove, to create the deadly imagery you’ll find on the back of 4 special ‘Deadly’ cards - one in each Booster Pack.
When you look at these designs with your Junior Rangers, it’s a good chance to reflect on the role Traditional Owners have played in protecting the many animals that call Australia home.

DAD: For ARiUS the Southern Cassowary, being a dad is a full-time gig. The male ARiUS are tasked with raising the chicks, meaning they have to make full use of Superpowers like FISHDRAW to keep hungry mouths fed!
