A scale model of a mobile surgical hospital concept. Just completed.

Early this year we completed a project for The New Women's and Children's Hospital. To avoid some of problems with the new RAH our team at UniSA were engaged to provide assurance for proposed hospital room configurations and human fit... So we used our Rapid Human Environment Prototyping System (RHEPS) to realise the proposed architectural plans in cardboard.

Hospital staff get first glimpse at nWCH Mock-Up Rooms To design a new state-of-the-art Women’s and Children’s Hospital, we have pushed ourselves to think outside the box… or, on this occasion at least, inside it.

Designed and fabricated an experiment to test strength capacity in restricted spaces… specifically the amount of torque in newton meters a human can put on a bolt and a hand wheel in confined spaces
