What a wonderful Fatherโ€™s Day afternoon we had at Maidavale State School! ๐Ÿ’™
It was fantastic to see so many dads, grandads and father figures join us for an afternoon of fun, laughter and quality time with our students.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon so special. We hope you enjoyed making some wonderful memories together and celebrating the incredible father figures in our school community. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ Beach Safety at Maidavale State School! ๐Ÿ›Ÿโ˜€๏ธ
This morning, we were lucky to have a Surf Life Saver and Life Guard visit Maidavale State School to chat with our students all about beach safety!

Our students learned about the importance of swimming between the flags, recognising beach signs and warnings, staying safe around the water, and what to do if they ever find themselves in trouble.

A huge thank you to our wonderful visitors for sharing such important knowledge and helping our students become safer and more confident around our beaches. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’™

Stay safe, swim smart and always respect the signs! ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ›Ÿ

๐Ÿ’™ NO BULLYING. NO WAY! ๐Ÿ’™

A day to stand together and say NO WAY to bullying! โœ‹

Every child deserves to feel safe, included, respected and valued. Whether itโ€™s at school, on the playground, online or in the community, our words and actions can make a huge difference.

๐ŸŒŸ Be kind.
๐Ÿค Include others.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Speak up when something isnโ€™t right.
โค๏ธ Stand beside someone who needs a friend.
๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ Be the person who makes someone elseโ€™s day a little brighter.

Remember, bullying is never okay, and nobody should have to face it alone.

Letโ€™s create a kinder world where everyone belongs. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’™

Bullying? NO WAY! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’› 100 Days Brighter at Maidavale! ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŽ‰

Today we celebrated 100 days of learning, growing, and shining! This year, we funked it up by dressing in our brightest, boldest, and most colourful outfits to mark the occasion.

Our school was filled with vibrant colours, big smiles, and plenty of fun as we celebrated how much we've achieved in the first 100 days of the school year. Here's to continuing to learn, laugh, and brighten every day together!

What an unforgettable time for Maidavale State School at the Small Schools Camp in Airlie Beach! ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽ’ From ocean rafting and swimming at the water park to learning about Australian reptiles and meeting the farm animals, the kids have been having a ball.
โ€‹We also cheered hard for QLD last night ๐Ÿˆ, explored Whitehaven Beach ๐Ÿ–๏ธ, and couldn't pass up a photo op at the Big Mango on our way down! ๐Ÿฅญ

๐Ÿ“šโœจ Yesterday we celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime 2026! โœจ๐Ÿ“š

Children all across Australia joined together to share the magic of storytelling, imagination, and reading. We loved coming together to enjoy this special story and celebrate the joy that books bring to our lives. ๐Ÿ’›

Reading helps children learn, dream, create, and explore new worlds โ€” and today was a wonderful reminder of just how powerful stories can be.
