Flashback Friday!📸🎥

A little flashback to the days when the arrival of the “horseless carriage” brought excitement, adventure… and occasionally a little trouble!

Back in 1936, the dirt roads around the district could certainly put a new motor vehicle to the test. When Syd Hughes found his new utility stranded in the water at the 'Hell Hole, Diamond Valley, Mooloolah', Alf Wirth and his son Chris came to the rescue with their trusty draught horse!

🐴 The horse had no trouble doing what horses did best, getting people out of trouble when they needed a helping hand.

Horses were once relied upon for transport, hard work and emergencies. They were dependable, strong and always ready to lend a hand.

Fast forward nearly 90 years and things have certainly changed! 😄

Today, instead of a trusty draught horse, you’ll find the Driving Miss Daisy team behind the wheel. 🚗💜

While we may have swapped the horse for horsepower, the spirit remains the same being there when people need us, helping them get where they need to go, and making every journey a little easier.

From horses pulling cars out of creeks to Driving Miss Daisy helping our community get out and about… some things never change. ❤️

You know, days like today are exactly why we love what we do. ❤️

Spending time with a wonderful client who loves to crochet is always a pleasure. Whether we’re out and about, enjoying a coffee, having a chat, or simply making time for her favourite hobby, it’s those little moments that make the day special.

There’s always a story to share, a laugh to have, and of course… plenty of crochet! 🧶❤️

It really is about so much more than just getting from A to B. It’s about companionship, connection and enjoying the day together. ✨

Catching waves on the concrete! 🛹✨
​Archie had an absolute blast at his skateboard lesson today! Big thanks to the incredible team at Chiggy’s Skateboarding for creating such an inclusive, encouraging, and supportive space where every kid gets to roll at their own pace and build confidence.
​Watching Archie take on new challenges, learn balance, and wear that massive smile all afternoon was pure joy. So proud of his effort and determination! 💛🙌
