As the Lead Organised for what was originally " the Best Was Yet To Come" Memorial Picnic, a fundraiser for Cystic fibrosis NSW, it has now developed and grown to the beginnings of a "National Day" for all parents who have lost a son or daughter for whatever reason. The very first fundraising event raised $426 last years event raised $30,000. My goal is to have a " National Day" to recognised across all states and territories while simultaneously holding events to raise money for charities nominated by the families as they post a photo of their loved one on the " Memory Wall" at the event.
