🎓🏫🏕️ YEARS 11 + 12 OPPORTUNITY 🏕️🏫🎓

What’s next after school? Find out at RYTS!

Finishing Year 12 is an exciting time, but figuring out what comes next can be one of the biggest questions you face. The Rotary Youth Transitional Seminar (RYTS) is a seven-day camp designed to help young people prepare for life beyond school.

Running from December 6th – 12th, 2026, at Lake Perseverance Recreation Centre in Crows Nest, Queensland, RYTS offers a jam-packed week of guest speakers, sessions, games, activities, events and challenges designed to build practical life skills and confidence for the ‘real world’.

Participants will explore everything from creating a budget and maintaining a car to cooking healthy meals, communicating effectively, looking after themselves and building strong relationships.

The camp is generously sponsored by local Rotary Clubs in District 9620, meaning there is no cost to participants.

If you're finishing school in 2026/2027 and looking for a fun, practical way to prepare for what comes next, this could be an opportunity worth exploring.

At Wednesday night's Senior Presentation Evening, we announced to the school community our 2027 School Captains.

⭐️🌿🏆 SENIOR PRESENTATION EVENING 🏆🌿⭐️

Last night we celebrated our Senior Presentation Evening, "Engaging Minds, Empowering Futures", an opportunity to acknowledge and congratulate our Years 10, 11 and 12 students on their achievements in academia, community engagement, artistic and cultural pursuits and celebrate their successes in the vast array of sporting opportunities and showcase our wonderful school! 🏅

Congratulations to all our award recipients, and an extra congratulations to our Major Award recipients! 💚

Our wonderful Student Leaders' Forum had their end-of-year celebration today to mark what has been a phenomenal year!

Raising over $32,000 and championing causes both near and far, our young leaders have truly raised the bar this year. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, compassion and commitment to making a difference.

While there are still a few exciting initiatives to come this year, it was wonderful to take a moment to celebrate with our 2026 School Captains and Year 12 Leaders before they graduate - the driving force and inspiration behind this remarkable group of leaders!

Today we celebrated our amazing Year 12 international students as they prepare to finish their journey at Centenary SHS.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on their achievements, friendships and the positive impact they have made on our school community.
