Happy National Torres Strait Islander Flag Day!

On 29 May 1992, this flag was officially presented to the people of the Torres Strait.

Learn about our country's history through truth-telling and explore how we can all help achieve reconciliation in Australia.

This year's theme, 'All In' reminds us that reconciliation isn't a spectator sport - we all need to take action to make change and not leave it solely as the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of explaining and acting for too long.

A generation on from this historic report, just 5 of its 83 recommendations have been implemented.
