Today we performed crew inductions on our Dolphin 3+ Rescue Drone.

This excellent piece of rescue equipment, purchased while we were still Coast Guard will allow us to more safely take tow lines into shallow water, or pass tow lines to other vessels in rough weather where close quarters maneuvering increases the risk to both vessels.

Today marks our first roster as Marine Rescue Manly.

Our volunteers have long been part of life on the bay — helping boaties, responding when assistance is needed and giving their time to help others return safely to shore.

As , we’re proud to carry that experience, local knowledge and the legacy of Coast Guard Brisbane forward with us.

It’s a new identity for our unit, but the same people and the same commitment to serving our community on the water.

One coast. One crew. One MRQ 💙💛

Give us a wave if you see us on the water!

Hello friends and supporters of Coast Guard Brisbane.

This weekend will be our final weekend operating as a unit of the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association.

Coast Guard Brisbane has been serving the boating community of Moreton Bay and SE Queensland for over 53 years and we are immensely proud of our legacy and heritage.

From Saturday 19th of September we will become MRQ Manly. Our logo, livery and call sign will change but our dedication to saving life at sea remains.

Our central phone number will remain the same: 07 3396 5911

Our call sign will be MRQ Manly.

This page will remain and will rebrand on the day of transition. We thank you all for your support as a proud Coast Guard unit and look forward to your support as a unit of Marine Rescue Queensland.
