For the last few days, we’ve been bombarded with headlines about bird flu after the detection of a small number of infected birds in South Australia. In fact it was the lead story on last night’s news 🤷‍♂️

Of course, biosecurity matters. Protecting our poultry industry matters. Monitoring potential disease outbreaks is part of responsible government.

But many Australians are asking a simple question:

Does the level of media attention match the actual risk to the average person?

The current advice from health authorities remains that the risk to the general public is low. Human infections are rare and typically involve close contact with infected birds.

Yet you would be forgiven for thinking we’re facing an immediate public health emergency based on some of the coverage.

Australians deserve accurate information, not sensationalism.

We should be able to discuss genuine risks rationally, without every issue being turned into a crisis, a panic, or a round-the-clock news event.

At a time when families are struggling with:
💰 Cost-of-living pressures
🏠 Housing affordability
⚡ Energy prices
🛒 Rising grocery bills

many people are wondering why these issues don’t receive the same intensity of coverage.

Being informed is important.

Being alarmed unnecessarily is not.

🚨 THE DOUBLE STANDARD IS IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE 🚨

Karl Stefanovic has removed his Tommy Robinson interview from all platforms amid reports Ch 9 is furious

Funny how nobody had a problem when Karl platformed some of Australia's biggest Jew-haters.

Apparently opposing Islamic extremism is where they draw the line.

So Karl Stefanovic can interview controversial figures who have made inflammatory comments about Jews, Israel and the Jewish community, and we’re told that’s simply journalism.

We’re told it’s important to hear different perspectives.

We’re told difficult conversations matter.

We’re told journalists should ask tough questions.

But when he interviews Tommy Robinson, suddenly the interview reportedly vanishes from platforms and Channel 9 is said to be furious.

Why?

🤔 If controversial voices are acceptable, they should be acceptable across the board.

🤔 If the media believes in exposing audiences to difficult opinions, that principle should apply consistently.

🤔 If extremist views are the problem, then surely all forms of extremism should be treated equally.

Many Australians are starting to notice that some topics appear protected from scrutiny, while others are treated as completely off limits.

The issue isn’t whether you agree with Tommy Robinson.

The issue is whether the media applies the same standard to everyone.

One rule for one group and another rule for everyone else isn’t journalism.

It’s selective gatekeeping.

Many Australians are starting to question whether the modern Labor Party has adopted a similar approach.

🔸 More regulation of businesses and industries
🔸 Growing bureaucracy
🔸 Higher taxes and charges
🔸 Increased reliance on government programs
🔸 More intervention in housing, energy and the economy

Rather than dramatic change overnight, Australians are seeing a steady shift where government plays a larger role in areas that were once left to individuals, families, communities and businesses.

Supporters argue these policies provide fairness and social support.

Critics argue they reduce personal responsibility, discourage aspiration, increase dependence on government and slowly erode the freedoms that helped make Australia one of the most prosperous nations on earth.

Australians have always valued independence, hard work and the opportunity to get ahead through their own efforts.

The question we should all be asking is:

🚨 LABOR & THE GREENS STRIKE ANOTHER DEAL AGAINST ASPIRATION 🚨

Just when you thought Labor couldn’t move any further left, they’ve struck a deal with the Greens to push through more tax reforms, including a commitment to BAN future Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangements (LRBAs) in Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) for residential property investment.

What does that actually mean?

👉 Fewer opportunities for Australians to build wealth through property.
👉 More restrictions on how people can invest their own retirement savings.
👉 More government deciding what you can and can’t do with your own money.
👉 Another attack on self-reliance, ambition and financial independence.

For decades, hardworking Australians have sacrificed, saved and invested to secure a better future for themselves and their families. Now Labor and the Greens are systematically dismantling those opportunities one policy at a time. (News.com.au⁠)

The Greens openly view property investment as a problem rather than an aspiration. Labor continues to cave to their demands to stay in power. Together they are creating a system where success is penalised, investment is discouraged and more Australians become dependent on government intervention.

Let’s be clear:

🏠 Small business owners are not the enemy.
🏠 Australians who work hard, save hard and invest wisely are not the enemy.

The real danger is a government that believes it knows better than you how to manage your future.

Every year it becomes harder to get ahead in Australia. More taxes. More regulation. More restrictions. Less freedom.

Australians should be encouraged to build wealth and provide for their own retirement — not punished for it.

That’s right. According to this poll, One Nation is attracting significantly more support from migrant communities than Labor.

Why?

Perhaps because many migrants came to Australia for the very things that made this country successful in the first place:

🇦🇺 Opportunity
🇦🇺 Stability
🇦🇺 Strong communities
🇦🇺 Respect for Australian values

Many left countries burdened by corruption, division, crime, failed governance, ethnic conflict or economic hardship. They didn’t come here to recreate the problems they escaped from.

They came to become Australians.

Contrary to what our political opponents claim, loving Australia and wanting to preserve what makes it special is not a view limited to any one background, culture or ethnicity.

In fact, some of the strongest supporters of Australian sovereignty, national unity and common-sense policies are people who chose Australia as their home.

The establishment keeps trying to paint One Nation as divisive.

Yet polls like this suggest many Australians from migrant backgrounds are embracing the very message One Nation has been delivering for decades:

👉 One people.
👉 One law for all.
👉 Australia first.

Perhaps those who have seen the alternative understand better than most what is worth protecting.

There has been a lot of misinformation lately about the term “monoculture”, with some trying to portray it as racist or anti-migrant.

Let’s be clear: that is not what it means.

A shared Australian culture is not about race, religion, skin colour or where your family came from.

It’s about something far more important:

✅ Respecting Australian laws
✅ Speaking a common language
✅ Embracing Australian values
✅ Putting Australia first
✅ Standing together as one people

Australia has welcomed migrants from every corner of the globe. Millions have come here, worked hard, raised families, built businesses and contributed enormously to our nation.

They didn’t weaken Australia.

They became Australian.

That’s the difference.

Multiculturalism celebrates our different backgrounds, traditions and histories. There is nothing wrong with that. But without a strong Australian identity that unites us, society becomes divided into separate groups competing against one another instead of working together.

A strong national culture provides the glue that holds a nation together.

It means that whether your ancestors arrived 60,000 years ago, 200 years ago, or 2 years ago, we are all bound by the same laws, the same freedoms, the same responsibilities and the same love for this country.

You don’t have to abandon your heritage to be Australian.

But being Australian should come first.

Because when Australia comes first, Australians come first.

That’s not division.

That’s unity.
