It’s 2025 and we’re still using paper cards and stickers to track medicine costs. Automation is overdue. The technology exists, the policy just hasn’t caught up.

The Government is everywhere telling us medicine prices are going back to 2004, but they’re leaving the Safety Net in 2025.

In 2004 the PBS Safety net was 31 scripts or ($726.80). On 1 January it’s going to be over $1700 and 68-70 scripts unless the PBS Co-Pay legislation currently before the Parliament is changed.
