The ANU Labor Club is the ACT's largest student political club and the home of all Labor Party members at the ANU. Like us to stay informed of upcoming events and meetings. The ANU Labor Students’ Club is the largest political club on campus. It is made up of supporters of the Australian Labor Party. The club actively participates during elections with many members campaigning in crucial marginal electorates in previous federal election victory. Former members include the Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd MP, Former Senator and candidate for Bean David Smith, and ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA. Join us for Drinks with Caitlin Tough, ACT Minister for Women, Seniors and Veterans.

The ANU Labor Club is excited to host Minister Tough for an evening of conversation and sharing of experiences. Come along to hear about her work advocating for women across the ACT, and to chat over a drink with fellow club members.

On Wednesday the ANU Labor Club held our inaugural BIPOC Voices in Politics event at Parliament House.

It was awesome to hear from Senator Michelle Ananda-Rajah and Sally Sitou MP and have an interesting discussion about BIPOC representation and their unique experiences both before and during politics.

Amazing News: It has just been announced that the Albanese Labor Government will expand paid prac to 10 important university degrees including paramedicine, pharmacy and psychology.

This is a massive win for groups like the HSU, the Pharmacy Guild and the National Union of Students, but also of advocates within Young Labor right here at the ANU Labor Club who have pushed for the important paid prac changes for teachers, nurses and midwives as well as calling for the government to expand and deliver this vital assistance to more students across the country.
