Canberra Friends of Dili supports the friendship city relationship between Canberra and Dili as cities and capitals of their countries.

Our aim is to foster a relationship based on friendship between communities in Canberra and Dili

The relationship is based on the formal friendship city agreement between the ACT Government and the Dili District Administration. Canberra Friends of Dili was delighted to welcome two aspiring, young, Timorese tennis players on Wednesday night.

Alma and Zenidia are visiting Australia as part of the Timor-Leste Kids Tennis program. Over the coming weeks, the girls will be travelling around Australia to compete in tournaments and further develop their skills on the court.

Their next tournament is at the Melba Tennis Club this weekend. Come along and cheer them on!
