NIPPER PACKS HAVE ARRIVED! 💙🧡🌊

Exciting news!

Our Nipper packs have arrived early and will be available for collection on the following dates:

📅 Sunday 11th October

📅 Sunday 18th October

⏰ 8:30am – 12:00pm on both days

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We are looking for some wonderful volunteers to assist with Nipper pack collections across both Sundays!

If you’re available to lend a hand, please comment below with which date you’re able to assist!

Become a Surf Lifesaver – Bronze Medallion Training 🌊
The Bronze Medallion is the core award of Surf Life Saving and your pathway to becoming a patrolling lifesaver.

📅 Upcoming Course
Course 1: October – December
Dry: Wednesdays from 14 Oct 25 (6:30–8:30pm)
Wet: Sundays from 18 Oct 25 (11am–1pm)
Dry assessment: Wednesday 9 December
🎖️Final assessment: Saturday 12 December

Requirements:
- 15+ years old (by final assessment)
- Current financial member of CBSLSC
- 400m flat water swim under 9 minutes (signed off by club assessor)

The activities each week at our Woodside Nippers program rely on our parents getting involved and helping out and we promise you’ll have as much fun as our Nippers do!

Some of the ways you can get involved include;
✅Being an Age Group Manager
✅Becoming a qualified Foundation Coach
✅Becoming qualified Water Safety Personnel
✅Becoming a qualified Competition Official
✅Helping record results
✅Helping with club set up and pack down
✅Helping with the club BBQ

We encourage you to talk to your Nipper’s Age Group Manager to see where you can best help out. Your volunteering will be an example to your own children, so please, always volunteer in a fair, inclusive, safe and respectful way.

The below courses available will enable you to learn skills to help our Nippers. They cannot participate without water safety ratios and you can assist to ensure they get the most out of the program and have fun in the water!

✅Saturday 7 November: 8.00 am - 11.00 am
✅Saturday 21 November: 8.00 am - 11.00 am
