FREE FIRST AID COURSE FOR CBSLSC MEMBERS ⛑️

Want to build your confidence in emergency situations and gain nationally recognised first aid skills?

Coogee Beach SLSC will be running a FREE HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course for eligible club members. This one-day course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to manage emergency first aid situations and provide care until professional medical support arrives.

📅 Saturday 25 July
🕣 8:30am – 3:30pm
📍 Tin Shed Training Room, CBSLSC

✅ Upon successful completion, participants will receive the following nationally recognised units:
• HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
• HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
• HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

🌊 Members should also note that completion of a First Aid course (accredited or non-accredited SLSWA course) is a prerequisite for undertaking the Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (ART) Award.

⚠️ Numbers are limited, with priority given to patrolling members.

The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at:

10.00am on Sunday, 28 June 2026, in the Tin Shed Training Room at 20 Poore Grove, Coogee, WA 6166.

The agenda of the AGM is as follows:
1. Present the Presidents’ Report
2. Annual Financial Statements
3. Elect new Directors to Board
4. Expressions of Interest for Club Officers.

Please note, that in accordance with the Club Constitution only Elected Officers and Active, Active Reserve, Long Service and Life Members shall be eligible to vote at any general meeting of the Club – Social/General Members do not have voting rights.

NOTICE/S OF MOTION from our mem­bers, must be lodged in writ­ing with the Business and Marketing Director, [email protected], by 2pm Friday, 29 May 2026.

Each volunteer Director of the club has direct responsibility for a defined set of activities and associated programs which are pivotal to the successful running of the club.

Directors shall be nominated by and elected from the financial members of the club and shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term and shall take office immediately on election.

Your Club needs your support to fill Volunteer Club Officer Positions in the 2026/2027 season for the future success of the Club meeting its Vision. Please consider how you could assist in one of these roles.

Directors also have Volunteer Club Officer Positions who work with the Director to assist in achieving the desired outcomes for the club and its members.

These Office Holder roles can provide support to the administrative and financial functions within the club, or more often are related to operational based roles on the beach.

Expression of interests for these roles will be taken at the AGM, nomination forms can be requested by emailing [email protected].

A listing of the available Directors and Officers roles is available upon request for your reference.
