Our Bunjil and Muk Muk groups joined in with National Simultaneous Storytime at kinder today linking to our fours' love of literacy. Over the last few weeks, our 4-year-old kindergarten program has been focusing on narratives and storytelling, with children creating their own stories and sharing these with their peers.

🚓🚒 Helpers In Our Community 🚓🚒
Our 3 year old kinder group are fortunate to have two families who are part of our community of emergency helpers. There are many people who can keep us safe when we feel uncomfortable or scared and Daniel from Fire Rescue Victoria and Fabienne and Matt from Ringwood Police Station demonstrated the ways in which they are there to help us if we ever need. We are so fortunate to have these kinder to home connections which support providing a sense of community for our children.

It's a camp fire kind of day at Kinder with our 3-year-old group!
Learning fire safety, what fire can be used for, and toasting some marshmallows as a treat!
Lots of preparation goes into having a fire at Kinder, but what a rewarding experience for the children.
