People First Party- Central Queensland

27/10/2026

What if your childcare subsidy went directly to you instead of a centre?

People First is calling for exactly that - giving parents the freedom to choose a nanny, a family member, a friend or whatever works best for their family.

Because not every family fits the 9-5 mould. And the system should reflect that. 🙌

A great opportunity to support a worthwhile local cause 👇

IMB 2026 Beneficiary Spotlight | Bob’s Garage

This year, our Rotary Club of Gladstone International Men's Day Breakfast 2026 IMB2026 is supporting a cause close to home — Bobs Garage.

Bob’s Garage is creating a place where local men can connect, have a conversation and find support when they need it. Because sometimes, having somewhere to go and someone to talk to can make all the difference.

By joining us for breakfast on 19 November, you’re doing more than attending an event — you’re helping support men right here in the Gladstone community.

Bring a mate. Bring your team. Be part of it.

Tickets are on sale now.

In this video from a couple of months ago, Gerard Rennick discusses the need for better management of Australia's immigration system.

People First proposes a number of reforms, including:

▪️ Capping permanent immigration at 100,000 visas per year.

▪️ Requiring employer sponsorship for work visas, replacing the points-based and skills-based visa systems.

▪️ Improving coordination between government departments to better track visa holders, sponsors and expiry dates.

▪️ Repealing the India–Australia Migration and Mobility Partnership Arrangement.

We need to put Australia first and protect what we have, to stop the overseas demonstrations from coming here.

It is our responsibility, as citizens and as a nation, to stand up for ourselves and to prevent conflicts like those that are occurring overseas from taking place.

Don't be fooled by the major parties - none of them have the economic answers. Yes immigration has to be lowered but this is only the start of the reform that has to take place.

People First has the policies in place to undo the damage by the current and previous governments.
