📚 High schools are already beginning to plan their classes for 2027!

If you haven't already done so, please ensure you complete and return your child's Year 7 enrolment pack as soon as possible to their chosen high school. ✅

⏰ Returning enrolment paperwork promptly helps high schools plan for student numbers, class placements and a smooth transition into Year 7.

We are excited to announce our Term 4 Behaviour Celebration at Kin Kora State School! 🌟

Students from Prep to Year 6 will have the opportunity to enjoy a session of INFLATABLE FUN in Week 10! 🏰🎉

🌟 How do students qualify?

Students need to complete 8 Best in Me Charts by the end of Week 8 to receive an invitation to our celebration!

💚 Best in Me awards recognise students who demonstrate:
⭐ Positive behaviours linked to our school expectations
⭐ Effort and improvement
⭐ Kindness and care for others

🎉 DOUBLE BEST IN ME FRIDAYS! 🎉

This term, we are also awarding DOUBLE Best in Me's every Friday to encourage and celebrate positive attendance choices! 🙌

📧 PARENT NOTIFICATIONS & CONSENT

Parents and carers of eligible students will receive a notification through QParents in Week 9. Consent forms must be completed via QParents.

🐝🌼 Little Bee’s Playgroup – Welcome Back! 🌼🐝

What a wonderful start to our final term of the year! 💛 It was so lovely to welcome back all our Little Bee friends and enjoy another fantastic morning of fun, learning and laughter together! 🥰

🧩 Inside, our busy little bees explored lots of engaging activities, including letter recognition, puzzles, dinosaurs, memory games, lacing activities and so much more!

👶🍳 Our home corner was a huge hit! The children loved dressing and caring for their baby dolls and cooking up lots of delicious meals in the kitchen.

🌳☀️ Outside, there was plenty of fun and excitement as everyone enjoyed playing on our beautiful new grassed area! The biggest hit of the morning was definitely our water play tubs! 💦💦

With the mornings getting warmer, we will be enjoying lots more water play throughout the term. Please feel free to pack a change of clothes for your little ones! 👕🩳

📌 2027 CLASS PLACEMENT REQUEST FORMS 📌

As we begin planning for the 2027 school year, we are committed to making thoughtful and informed decisions about class placements to best support every student's learning and wellbeing. 💚💛

If there are specific circumstances or concerns that may impact your child's learning and need to be considered when determining class placements for 2027, families are welcome to complete a Class Placement Request Form.

📝 Important Information:

✅ Requests for specific teachers will not be considered.

✅ Forms are available from the school office or can be requested via email at [email protected].

✅ Completed forms must be placed in an envelope clearly marked "CONFIDENTIAL to the Principal".

📅 DEADLINE: Friday 23 October 2026 at 3:00pm

⏰ Please note that forms received after this deadline will not be processed.
