* Examining the basic needs of animals for survival
* Investigating habitats and their importance to animal life
* Observable Features
* Identifying visible characteristics of different species
* Life Cycles
* Studying how different animals grow, reproduce, and adapt

* Exploring how animals are adapted to survive in their environments
* Environmental Science
* Exploring the relationship between animals and ecosystems
