Our university mascot should be chosen by us, not decided behind closed doors.

Students were promised a competition, yet an AI-generated design was selected without a real vote or meaningful consultation. Thatโ€™s not transparency, and itโ€™s not student power.

Swinburne students deserve a say in how our campus culture is shaped. Weโ€™re calling for an open, student-led process where designs are seen and every student gets a real vote.

Today our caucus members attended the One Year Out Rally, standing alongside Victorian Labor communities from across the state.

We are ready to fight for another progressive and pragmatic Labor government. Ready to protect workersโ€™ rights. Ready to stand with Victorians no matter where they come from or who they are.

Equal pay for equal work is a simple idea, yet young adults under 21 are still paid less than older co-workers doing the same job.

Workers across Victoria are taking on responsibility, leadership and essential roles, but earning less purely because of their age. This system is outdated and unfair.

We are backing the ACTU and SDA campaign Adult Age = Adult Wage because no adult should be discounted.

After a week of celebrating Transgender Week of Visibility, today we mark Transgender Day of Remembrance.

We stand with the transgender community and honour those who have lost their lives to anti-trans hate and violence.

Join us tonight at the Collingwood Vigil.

Today marks 50 years since the dismissal of the Whitlam Government.

Gough Whitlam was a visionary leader and proud unionist who expanded access to education, strengthened public healthcare and worked to make Australia a fairer country. His legacy continues to shape the rights and supports we value today.
