Small Business Spotlight: PASTAGOGO Henley Beach 🍝

Leo and Mary Pugliese started Pasta Go Go in South Australia, opening their first store in Malvern in 2006. Today, their sons Anthony and Lucas are running and growing the family business.

At the Henley shop, there’s traditional recipes and fresh pasta the spot.

I’ve seen the thought and effort that go into the food and the community around it.

A special thank you to the team for keeping me fed during pre-poll week. Nothing will ever beat a bowl of pasta.

When we need eachother, our community shows up.

I was honoured to meet Morgan, a local and member of SMAA

Brain cancer has touched Morgan’s life, and she is doing everything she can to help families facing the same uncertainty.

We both spoke about how despite circumstances, you can actively choose to use your position to make a difference. That’s exactly what Morgan’s doing.

This November, Morgan and Heath are climbing Mount Wellington to raise vital funds for brain cancer research.

It’s Nature Festival at Marine Discovery Centre 🐟🐙🧜‍♀️

I grew up here learning about the incredible marine life on our doorstep, so it means a lot to now support the Centre’s work helping the next generation understand and care for our coast.

It was an honour to deliver the keynote address at the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) 2026 Youth Forum.

Every young person deserves to feel they belong, to have their voice heard and to see a future for themselves here in South Australia.

The Migrant Resource Centre helps make that possible through the support, connection and opportunities it provides to young people and their families.

Thank you to the team for the care and commitment behind this work, and to the young people who shared their ideas and hopes for the future.

What a community. Some of my friends from kindy’s mums are now back as grandparents, people who have been involved for 25+ years, and new faces.

The Malinauskas Labor Government has completed a $1 million upgrade to South Australia’s VHF marine radio network, strengthening distress and communications coverage.

Channels 16 and 67 provide a 24-hour safety net, with upgraded equipment at Outer Harbor, Semaphore and West Beach.
