RESTRICTED BURNING FOR ALL ZONES IN THE SHIRE OF JERRAMUNGUP

The Restricted Burning Time commences today, 1 October 2026 for ALL Zones within the Shire of Jerramungup.

UPDATE: Back Beach is now open for public access.

PUBLIC NOTICE – TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BACK BEACH
Access to Back Beach is temporarily closed due to a deceased seal being present in the area.
The Shire and relevant authorities are managing the situation, and arrangements are being made for the safe removal of the carcass.
Members of the public are requested not to access Back Beach until further notice.
The Shire appreciates the community’s cooperation and will provide an update when the area has reopened.

ROADWORKS NOTICE – BREMER BAY

Please be advised that roadworks on Bremer Bay Road will commence on 23 September between Wellstead Road and Robert Street.
Works are scheduled to take place between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, exercise caution and follow all traffic management directions while works are underway.
