NAIDOC Week Celebrations Part 1 = Success ✅
Thank you to Mel and Shane from Merana Aboriginal Community for the amazing Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony to kick off NAIDOC Week 2026.

RHHS SPOTLIGHT

Rouse Hill HS had strong representation at the recent NSWCHSSA Boys Open Touch Football Championships in Coffs Harbour. Coached by our HT PDHPE Mr Mansfield, our boys put their best foot forward in some challenging conditions over 3 days, coming away with an 8th place overall. Congratulations to Tennyson K, Ryan E, Mathew R and Harrison F who represented Sydney West with distinction.

🎨 ARTWORK DEBUT
At the end of Term 1, some of our First Nation students wanted to complete a project that would honour the Dharug culture and history at Rouse Hill High School while also acknowledging and paying respect to their own mobs and community. With the support of the amazing Dharug artist Jess Munro, this dream became a reality in term 2.

The students worked collaboratively with Jess to create an artwork unique to RHHS which would reflect our school community and the importance of First Nation culture.

⭐ NAIDOC WEEK X ROUSE HILL HIGH SCHOOL ⭐

During week 10 & 11, Rouse Hill High School will be celebrating NAIDOC Week. NAIDOC Week is an important celebration that recognises and honours the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This week promotes respect, reconciliation, and inclusion, encouraging all students to appreciate diversity and engage positively with each other.

Throughout the week will be placing a spotlight on NAIDOC week at RHHS to showcase the exciting activities and initiatives happening in our school. Stay tuned for updates and join us in celebrating the rich heritage and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities at Rouse Hill High School!

Centre Stage 2026 was a huge success!

Our talented music students delivered an incredible night of performances, showcasing their dedication, skill and passion for music.
The concert also inspired our Year 8 students, who attended the dress rehearsal as they prepare for their upcoming performance assessment.

Congratulations to all performers, stage crew and tech crew who made the event such a memorable night!

2026 Winter Showcase

Join us for an afternoon celebrating the outstanding achievements of our Semester 1 music students on Monday 27 July from 5:00 pm in F6.

Come along and support our talented musicians as they showcase the results of their hard work, dedication and musical growth throughout the semester. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with our school community.

Performers that are interested: After Centre Stage during Week 10: a google form will be sent out. Performers will be finalised by end of Week 11.

WE ARE SO BACK!

After a successful 2025, where we raised over $5000 for the Run Beyond Project, competed in the Mudgee Running and Husky Run festivals, the Rouse Runners are back- BIGGER AND BETTER! Our team as grown from 25 students in 2025 to over 80 students participating in 2026, with a goal to improve on our fundraising efforts from last year.
