As your Keswick Ward Councillor since 2014, I have focused on delivering efficient services, keeping rates low, improving parks and playgrounds, expanding street tree planting, reducing energy consumption, strengthening waste and recycling programs, and making our streets safer for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. I live in Ashford with my wife and we have three children and two grandchildren.

Really proud to see Richmond Primary School ranked in the top 10 public primary schools in South Australia.

With fantastic staff, a strong culture and a genuine focus on students, Richmond Primary continues to outperform and deliver great outcomes for local families.

Two of our kids went through Richmond Primary, and we were delighted with the development, learning and confidence they gained during their time there.

The only real challenge is the lack of space, including open space. Given the State Government’s push for increased housing density in surrounding suburbs, it would be great to see a more strategic approach to school infrastructure.

I walk around our suburbs frequently and it surprises me just how many people are not aware of these SA road rules.

Giving way to pedestrians when turning... if you are turning at an intersection, you must give way to any pedestrian who is crossing the road you are turning into (Examples 30 and 31).

With the ultra hot weekend ahead, if you have any new-ish trees on your street verge, please give them a drink.

Thanks in advance.

I am meeting with the T2D project on Tuesday to discuss noise, dust and traffic management in the area from Anzac Highway to James Congdon Drive.

I know it is short notice, but if you have any specific concerns, please let me know.

Please also share with anyone else who may be impacted. Thanks.

I have recently joined the board of Speld SA - Specific Learning Difficulties Association of South Australia, it is great to to see our books being used to help identify kids that need an early intervention to help with reading and literacy.
