Celebrating Harmony Day at LSC 🧡🌏
Harmony Day was an amazing and vibrant
experience for our whole school community today, brought to life through the incredible efforts of our students.
Some standout activities and performances included our canvas painting featuring flags representing students from across our school, capturing the diversity of our community; a powerful Haka; a traditional Tongan Siva dance; traditional Indonesian congklak and First Nations ochre face painting - all bringing culture, pride and connection to life.
A huge shoutout to our Student Leaders - particularly Austin, Annelise, Seth and Elsha - along with our VM students and Rugby Academy students, for the huge amount of work that went into making the day such a success. We also thank all students who participated in the day, wearing clothing that is representative of their heritage or orange to show their support for Harmony Day. A further mention to Year 12 student Willow for the incredible photography!
We’d also like to sincerely thank Bendigo Bank Lara Community Branch for their generous support of Harmony Day. Their contribution allowed us to provide quality materials and resources, enabling students to engage meaningfully with activities and get the most out of the day.
We’re looking forward to sharing more of the amazing work from our student-led initiatives throughout the year.

Today, we celebrate all women.
The caregivers, the dreamers, the leaders, the friends. The ones who lift others up and the ones finding their own strength. Every woman’s journey is unique, but all deserve to be seen, valued, and celebrated-today and every day.
We’re so proud to be part of a community that uplifts and supports women in every stage of life.
Happy International Women’s Day 🩷
