I am a Psychology student who in the future endeavours to work with and educate young people. Once I complete my degree I aspire to continue with my studies and find ways to give back to my community.

I’ve been blessed with the God given gifts of being able to dance, creatively write and express myself and being very physically sporty. I love my sport especially football. Coming from a very beautifully vibrant and soulful culture I’ve always had a loving passion for dance and music. From a very young age I was always taught the importance of knowing my roots and really understanding where I’m from and how much power and worth it has.
I have a very bubbly and outgoing personality which in return has allowed me to learn about different cultures, and it has given me the opportunity to meet and interact with so many unique and amazing people.
I decided to join Miss Africa this year because I want to be a voice for the people, the African people especially the South Sudanese youth. Mahatma Gandhi once said ''Be the change you want to see in the world’'. I believe in myself enough to know that I have the potential to make a change for the better. I want another little girl to feel inspired because she has seen someone that looks like her and for her to know that she is beautifully personified and has the intellectual ability to pursue whatever her heart desires.

If I were to win Miss Africa I would definitely work with the African young girls because I believe we have such a powerful voice that is at times oppressed and suppressed by society and the media.
I also want to tackle the issue of youth depression and mental illness within the African community.

South Sudan's Friday Zico is edging closer to full recovery after a long spell on the sidelines, with the 22 year-old winger on the verge of returning to club football.

Zico hasn’t played since injuring his knee in late 2015 and has since battled ankle injuries, which has further added to his time out of the game. However, his latest ankle injury is making a solid recovery, which will likely see him return to action in a matter of weeks.

Once fully recovered Zico is looking to secure a move overseas, with clubs in China and Belgium reportedly showing interest. In addition, a long-awaited return to the South Sudan national team is a key goal for Zico, who will be looking to add to his 2 Bright Stars appearances.
