Thoughts about Parmesan cheese on top?
It was actually fantastic!

Nothing like a home cooked Parma by the lady of the Bra # # # household!
Ms. Bra # # # sneakily added some diced bacon into the marinara sauce and topped it off with fresh mozzarella and parmesan. Scoring an average of a whopping 11.5/10, cheers to great friendships during these weird times. ❤️

You nominated, we reviewed. The Proudfoots By The River Parma was suggested by many of you, and so we took one for the Warrnambool citizens, and settled it once and for all... The crumb on this chicken, is bloody fantastic. Great size meal with some unique tasting sides. We were divided on the sauce, some of us liked the sweetness, others not so much. However we all agreed that the rustic style chips were a really nice touch. Scoring 73/100, this $26 parma made for a great Saturday night meal with friends.

Our first post isolation Parma at the Railway View Hotel Timboon did not disappoint. This $24 cheesy plate of goodness was accompanied by some great sides, and made our return to fame deliciously exciting.

Macey's Bistro, Warrnambool. $16

We were very intrigued by the parma on this menu, as it is crumbless. But when we ordered, we were highly recommended the lunch version instead as apparently it's much better!

Chicken was cooked very well, nice and juicy, and the cheese was a massive standout. Cooked perfectly.

The chips were quite bad, and very bland, but seasoning would do absolute wonders for them.
For the price and what you get, the value is outstanding.

We will be going back for the crumbless wonder at some stage to see what it's like!

Saltwater Bistro (RSL), Warrnambool. $21

The size was great and the chips were very nice.

The sauce seemed like it was straight out of a tin, very watery, which made the crumb really soggy all over.

The sides were very nice, and overall good value for the price.

*On a side note, there’s a great atmosphere and we had a lot of fun! Unfortunately between 18 prizes and the 35 raffle tickets we had, BoyzLAN didn’t win a single thing!

East Colac Hotel, Colac. $25

The crumb was fantastic, crunchy pretty much all over. One of the best so far, and we wish other establishments could get it this good, instead of the soggy mess they end up being.

The bacon was nice, but don’t like the idea of having to pay $2.00 for it so you aren’t just having cheese and sauce on your chicken.

Sauce needed more flavour, but the chips very delicious! Soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside.

The Stump, Port Fairy. $25

Our first review in Port Fairy!

The chips were very oily, and there there was no need for the parma to be sitting on top of them.

With only one thin piece of ham on the top, you could barely tell it was there at all, and the sauce had a weak flavour.

Our main concern taste wise was the crumb. It was packed with herbs, which greatly overpowered everything else about the meal, and we only had crunch on the edges.

We understand that people may love the strong herb taste, but it just wasn’t for us.

No review tonight, but we did have the Parma Burger at Lady Vandeburg!

$2 from every burger goes to the “Parma For a Farmer” campaign. It was amazing and very tasty!
