Cultural Diversity Week - Harmony Day

Harmony Day was embraced at FCPS last Friday as we also sent our best wishes of Eid Mubarak to those in our community celebrating.

There were both creative and beautiful outfits worn throughout the school, with great pride particularly from students wearing their traditional cultural dress.

Our Inclusion Captains Nyima and Benny partnered with Cultural Diversity Captains Rana and Tommy to lead an inspiring day for our community.

Thank you for your support - $166 was raised which is being donated to the Killara Foundation who support Aboriginal people with employment pathways and cultural connection.

A shout out to our Year 6 students and families for the scrumptious cultural food market, what a way to end the week!

We celebrated World Maths Day at FCPS on Wednesday 25th March and what a fantastic day it was!

It was wonderful to see so many students embracing the spirit of the occasion with their creative costumes - from dominoes and patterns to calculators, Number Blocks, equations and all things numbers.

A highlight of the day was our Year 6 Captains, who designed engaging maths lessons linked to their areas of leadership. It was fantastic to see their ideas come to life across the school, with students actively participating and enjoying these learning experiences.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make our World Maths Day celebrations a success!
