A change of pace for me this weekend. I’m part of this annual event in what is an amazing building. I will have my handmade buttons and a small array of other buttons for sale. Being Mother’s Day weekend I will also have some of my handmade earrings and jewellery for those last minute gifts. My main focus will be a display of various types of buttons from the 1800’s through to the present day. Great day out if you’re looking for something to do this weekend.

Thank you to everybody who stopped by to peruse and purchase buttons yesterday .
A purchase was returned to me after it was found left on another stall. If you’ve misplaced your button purchase please contact me. They’re waiting to go to their new home.

Hoping to see lots of fibre (and button loving) makers and creators on Sunday.

I know I’ve been MIA for the last 3-4 months, but I’ve been quietly working away in short bursts in the studio managing an ongoing issue with my thumb. I’ve had to adapt some of my techniques in order to be able to continue to create. They say where’s there a will, there’s a way. So I’m still creating, but at a slower pace. I will endeavour to be more present on my social media pages to keep you up to date with my studio makings. Looking forward to a productive year!!!

Which would you prefer? Brooch or pendant? If brooch, position as on the left or right? Thanks for your thoughts.
