A new national warning system, AusAlert, will be tested in the Liverpool area tomorrow afternoon. The test will take place at 4pm in the vicinity of Heathcote Rd and Newbridge Rd.

If you are within the test area, or neighbouring suburbs including Liverpool, Moorebank, Warwick Farm, Milperra and Casula, your device, such as mobile phones, tablets and smart watches, may receive a test alert.

Phones and devices that receive the test alert may vibrate and emit a loud, siren-like sound that will last for approximately 10 seconds.

This is a part of planned trials of the new system, which is designed to deliver faster alerts, reach more people and remain reliable even during network congestion.

We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! 👑

While many were enjoying a well-earned break, members of our brigade were hard at work helping keep our community safe. 🔥

Thankfully, it was a relatively quiet weekend for our team, with three call-outs on Saturday and one call-out on Monday.

NSW Youth week 🔥

Youth Week in the RFS is about recognising young volunteers who step up, learn real-life skills, and help keep communities safe.

In the RFS, volunteers learn teamwork, responsibility and leadership, it recognises the effort our young volunteers put into training, community engagement events and other different roles!

Dream. Dare. Do.

Today Tracy and Abbey attended the Sydney royal easter show and assisted at the RFS stand!
They also had the amazing opportunity to meet the NSW premier Chris Minns.

Last Wednesday night, Chook and Nathan ran an FF training session with our new members!

The crew had the opportunity to get hands on with the truck, learning about the equipment firefighters rely on and how it’s used in different situations.

Justin, Abbey, Alex and Aurora also put on a demonstration of an overrun, giving everyone a clear look at how it’s carried out.

Awesome to see our new members getting involved and building their skills!

What a weekend! 💪🔥
We had a successful Get ready weekend, keeping us busy from start to finish.
We were joined by other Campbelltown brigades, working as a team and showing off the trucks 🙌

Janice, Tom, Breanna, Abbey, Nadeni, Justin, and one of our junior members attended and jumped in to make the event successful 🚒
