Minyip Swimming Pool

🏊‍♀️💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE LIONS CLUB OF MINYIP! 💙🏊‍♂️

Our swimming pool is so much more than just a place to cool off on a hot summer’s day. In a small community like Minyip, the pool is a place where families come together, children make memories, visitors stop and enjoy our town, and our community connects. ❤️

Keeping a community facility like this running takes a lot of work — and importantly, it takes the support of generous community members and local organisations.

We are incredibly grateful to the Lions Club of Minyip Inc. for their generous donation and ongoing support of our swimming pool. 🙏

Groups like the Lions are such an important part of small communities. They work behind the scenes, raise funds, lend a helping hand and support projects that benefit everyone.

Every donation, every volunteer hour and every act of community support makes a difference.

So, if you've ever thought about getting more involved in your community, why not consider finding out more about the Lions Club of Minyip? You might just find a great group of people, make some new friends and help make a difference right here in our own community. 🦁💛

To the Lions Club of Minyip — thank you for believing in our pool and in our community. We truly appreciate your generosity and support. 🌟

♻️ HELP US TURN BOTTLES INTO POOL FUNDS! 🏊‍♀️

We’ve been chosen to participate in the new Victorian Container Deposit Scheme, and we’re excited to get started!

We’ve been provided with these large, collapsible collection bags to make collecting and storing your eligible containers easy. They have a zip-up lid and sturdy handles, making them easy to carry once full.

💰 Want to help raise funds for our pool?
Pop along to our AGM this Wednesday night and collect a bag. Fill it with eligible containers, and once it’s full, someone from the Pool Committee will collect it and swap it for an empty one.

📍 Minyip Memorial Hall
📅 Wednesday 16th September
⏰ 6:00pm

Every bottle and can helps! 💙
Come along, grab a bag and help us turn your recycling into something great for our community. ♻️🏊‍♂️

Please consider donating your 10c containers to the swimming pool fundraising effort by placing them in the collection baskets located outside the cafe and IGA, contributing to a fantastic new fencing project.
