πCROCODILE SIGHTING - Multiple Beaches Closedπ
A confirmed 1.5m estuarine (saltwater) crocodile was sighted at Reddell Beach at 12:40pm today (Wednesday, 29 April 2026).
The following areas are now closed:
π« Reddell Beach
π« Entrance Point
π« Simpsons Beach
π« Demco Beach
π« Town Beach
Closures will remain in place for at least 24 hours while Parks and Wildlife Service Broome rangers patrol the area.
Please stay well clear of the coastline and follow all signage.
If you are in the area:
β’ Do not enter the water
β’ Keep children and pets away from the shoreline
β’ Do not clean fish or leave scraps near the water
