This National Volunteer Week, we’d like to recognise and thank all emergency service volunteers across the country.
From bushfire brigades and SES crews to St John and support services, volunteers dedicate countless hours to protecting and helping their communities, often behind the scenes. We’re proud to stand alongside you. 🚒

🔥STILL TURNING OUT🔥
Even as the weather cools we continue to respond to fires. Last night we were mobilised to a tree, grass and scrub fire in Banjup.

We’re out in Murray St Mall and surrounds today for our Annual Tin Rattle 🪣❤️
If you’re in the city, come say hi to the several brigades out and about and chuck a few dollars in the tin to support our volunteers and the work we do in the community.
Thanks for all the support so far!

To all the mums, mother figures, grandmothers, daughters, sisters and incredible women of our Brigade and wider community - thank you 💛
Thank you for the strength, care and resilience you bring, not only to your families, but to our Brigade every single day. From supporting behind the scenes to standing beside us when it matters most, your contribution never goes unnoticed.
Today we celebrate the women who protect, support, lead and care for others in so many different ways.
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at the Brigade 🚒

Today we recognise International Firefighters’ Day and take a moment to thank the incredible members of the South Coogee Bush Fire Brigade.
Our volunteers give their time, energy, and commitment to protect our local area - often in tough and unpredictable conditions. Their dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
We also acknowledge those who have served before us, and honour the firefighters around the world who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Thank you to our brigade for everything you do, today and every day. 🔥🚒

Big week for the brigade 👏
A huge thank you to the members who represented us at today’s International Firefighters Day Memorial Service - taking the time to honour those who came before us and those we’ve lost.
And a massive shoutout to our 2025 recruits who officially step up as firefighters this Wednesday. Well earned and well deserved - great to see the next crew coming through strong.
Proud week all round.

This ANZAC Day, we reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who served, and those who continue to serve our country and communities.
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.
