The Philippine Consulate welcomed representatives from the Australian Federal Police during their courtesy visit to the Consulate.

Honorary Consul Melissa Dalisay Aguasa and the AFP also conducted a post-event assessment following the successful celebrations of the 80th PH-AU Anniversary of Bilateral Relations.

The Consulate likewise acknowledged the important role of the AFP in ensuring the safety and protection of diplomats and consular officials in Australia, in line with international diplomatic obligations.

A historic evening at Crown Towers Ballroom as we marked the 80th Anniversary of Philippines–Australia Diplomatic Relations.
Under the theme “Two Shores. One Journey,” leaders, diplomats, and community partners came together to honour eight decades of friendship, cooperation, and shared purpose.

The celebration was graced by Hon Dan Caddy MLC, representing Premier Roger Cook; Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds; Philippine Ambassador Antonio Morales; Honorary Consul Melissa Aguasa; members of the diplomatic corps; local council officials; sponsors; and Filipino‑Australian community leaders.

A powerful tribute to two nations connected by history, strengthened by people, and united in the journey ahead.
