Trip down memory lane @ Azelia Ley Homestead Museum 🖼️

Some of our Villa Dalmacia residents recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to the historic Azelia Ley Homestead Museum, located right on Villa D's doorstep.

This beautiful heritage-listed residence, built in the early 1900s, kindly opened its doors especially for our group, giving residents the opportunity to explore a fascinating collection of furniture, clothing, photographs, paintings, toys, memorabilia, historical artefacts and much more.

The visit sparked many conversations and memories as residents reminisced about times gone by while discovering the rich history preserved within the homestead's walls.

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated volunteers and staff at the museum for their warm welcome and for sharing this special experience with us.

The outing was such a success that several residents described it as "the best outing we've ever been on!"

We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Little ones come to play @ Tuohy

Sonas Day Care and our inter-generational play group continues to be a highlight here at Tuohy.

If the little ones come to us or we go to them across the road, our residents don't mind, they just absolutely love being with these amazing little humans who are able to bring smiles to our residents for just being themselves.

Baby love @ Mosman Park 🧸

Our beautiful CNM Arun at Mosman Park was thrilled to receive a surprise baby shower put together by the staff.

We would like to congratulate Arun on her bundle of joy that will be coming very soon! Wishing Arun and family mountains of happiness!

Each month, Concorde Aged Care Home explore the cultures and backgrounds that make their resident community so special, and this month they journeyed to Vietnam!

Residents enjoyed a bus outing to a local Vietnamese restaurant where they sampled authentic Vietnamese cuisine, followed by a fun activity making their own Vietnamese rice paper rolls.

For our Vietnamese residents, this was a lovely reminder of home, and for our other residents it was a great opportunity to learn more about another culture and try something new. 💜

Bubbling up with joy @ Windsor Park

Before winter well and truly settles in, Windsor Park residents ventured outside for an afternoon of “Tunes & Bubbles”!

As you can see, the weather was picture perfect and the residents loved it.

It just goes to show that bubbles bring out the child in everyone! Such a simple activity, but it brings so much joy.

Celebrating International Burger Day @ Belmont 🍔

Today Belmont celebrated International Burger Day with a feast for residents and staff.

Residents took part in assembling the burgers, chatting with staff, and celebrated the occasion in a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

The activity brought smiles, teamwork, and a wonderful sense of community as everyone enjoyed preparing and sharing the meal.

Dim sim in the garden @ Concorde 🥟

Residents at Concorde gathered in their garden in May for a relaxed and social dim sum afternoon, enjoying good company and a delicious spread of dumplings.

Among the highlights were classic siu mai and hargow. The residents loved the wonderfully relaxed opportunity to enjoy a taste of tradition and familiar tastes.

Baby joy @ Braemar Cooinda 🧸

The team at Braemar Cooinda came together to wish Pallvi Rathore a safe and smooth delivery at her baby shower yesterday.

We hope this special time is filled with joy, love, and excitement as you begin your beautiful journey into motherhood.

We can’t wait to meet your little one and share in your happiness.

Fried rice in the sunshine @ Agmaroy 🍚

Cooking fried rice outdoors is always a recipe for fun, especially with sunshine and good company.

Our wonderful Agmaroy residents jumped right in, chopping onions and veggies like absolute kitchen superstars. And here’s a tasty tip: the secret to amazing fried rice is using leftover rice from the day before.
