It was great popping out to celebrate the 60th birthday of Tea Tree Gully Gymsports today. My daughter loves attending here and I want to say a huge thank you to the team for putting on a full day of family fun.

Happy Australia Day 🇦🇺

I have continued to keep an eye on the meeting attendance of our elected officials for another financial year. For those interested, see the findings below. Now, attending meetings is just part of the role of a Councillor and they are human, but it is something that can be monitored through meeting minutes and I find it interesting to see who is fulfilling this part of their paid role. It was great popping up to the Houghton Oval on Sunday and supporting the footy local club. Weather was perfect, food was yum and music was pumping 👌Walked away with some aged tawny to share with family and friends.

Recently I have been thinking about ways to ensure people know how our councillors are doing and whether they are earning that allowance. Obviously attending meetings is just part of the role and we are all human so will miss things sometimes, but it is also something that can be monitored through meeting minutes and I find interesting.
