Do you have a point of view about what is happening in the Northern Beaches community Readers please pass on this page to others.

This is a forum for legitimate local Northern Beaches issues which are not publicised in our local media especially the Manly Daily because of editorial constraints or just plain ignorance of what concerns locals. It is not to be used to promote party political criticisms of government at any level. The idea of the page is to air and communicate concerns about REAL ISSUES that concern out local community. APATHY IS NOT PERMITTED on this page.

There are two certainties on the Northern Beaches.

The Spit Bridge will always go up and down.

The Wakehurst Parkway will be closed due to flooding.

Decades of Coalition Government right back to the Askin days and two local Premiers and still we have an archaic road system.

Something is happening in the Wakehurst Parkway but it WILL NOT fix the flooding. Nothing like a good photo opportunity.

SOS Mona Vale meeting tonight

Where are the plans for new water and sewerage in the Pittwater area?

Tonight Angus Gordon informed the meeting about the serious need for infrastructure upgrades, especially water and sewerage if any major housing projects are to go through in the Mona Vale and Pittwater area.

It appears that there are no State Government plans to upgrade water or sewerage infrastructure and that all that is occurring is patch up work. The capacity for the existing system was reached decades ago.

We must all share concerns if the NSW Government is to continue allowing State Significant Developments to invade our area. Jacqui Scruby and Sue Heins, Mayor Northern Beaches Council please no
