To every carer who keeps going when the tank is empty, we see you, you’re not alone. 💗

You still get up. You still go to work. You still care for your children, attend the appointments, fill in the forms, and hold it all together. Not because it’s easy, but because there’s no other choice.

And so often, “I’m fine” is simply easier than explaining how you really feel.

But being strong doesn’t mean you have to carry it alone. If you’re feeling low, exhausted or depressed, please reach out. You deserve support too.

They’re a different kind of hard.

No routine.
No break to catch your breath.

Real talk from me 🤍

Years ago, I was the carer running on empty, juggling everything for my son Mr J, showing up for everyone else, and quietly falling apart on the inside.

Nobody checked in on ME. I didn’t even know how to ask for that.

Help You Cope exists because I needed it and it didn’t exist yet.

Every session we run is something I wish someone had handed me back then.

This Friday’s Sip & Care session is one of those things.

It’s not therapy, it’s not a to-do list, and it’s definitely not one more thing you have to be “on” for.

It’s a couple of hours to just sit, breathe, have a cup of coffee, and learn what’s actually happening in your body when everything feels like too much.

If you’re a carer reading this and thinking “I don’t have time”, that’s exactly why you need to come.

You give everything to everyone else.

This hour is yours.
