Today, our Adopt-Cowboy, Mason Barber, visited CCB and joined them in the library as they shared the books they were borrowing with him this week. Mason listened to some students read, shared interesting facts from information books and even helped them find characters in a search and find book.
At first break, CCB students invited Mason to join them for a game of soccer. Students loved playing along side him and responded positively to his encouragement on the field.

Yesterday CCA, CCB and CCC enjoyed a visit from some Australian animals thanks to Hands on Wildlife. The children all enjoyed learning about the animals and some even faced their fears holding a snake or crocodile.
More photos will appear in the newsletter next Thursday!
