We have a A Company in Malaysia deployed as Regional Combat Team 152. A platoon with our mates from C Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment - Australian Army. The rest of us are now commencing the 3rd Brigade - Australian Army’s Exercise Southern Jackaroo. We’ll be off comms for a while…

Funeral details for WO2 Lachlan Muddle.

The funeral will be held at the chapel on Holsworthy Barracks at 1100 on 29 May 26, followed by the wake at the North Bondi RSL from 1400-1700.

Whilst our soldiers spend time away in the field, it is your strength, patience and support at home that allows us to do what we do. Your sacrifices often go unseen, but they are never unappreciated.

Today we recognise and thank all the mothers within the Old Faithful family. Happy Mother’s Day 💚

It makes a parade!

Old Faithful’s Pipes and Drums form an important part of the Battalion’s identity. They wear Royal Stewart Tartan, as does our allied British Unit, the Scots Guards.

The Adjutant, as the platoon commander of Pipes and Drums, also wears the tartan on parade. As well as a c**k feather to identify him as the senior clan member on parade.
